To sign up for BEC Pay, you need to have a valid Civil ID and the Mobile ID app. Begin by inputting the requested details into the BEC Pay app, such as Civil ID, Mobile Number, and Email ID, to complete the registration process. Before you can start using the app, we will validate your authentication by sending a request to your Mobile ID. Once validated, you will be able to use the app.

What information do I need to provide during the onboarding process?

During the onboarding process, you need to provide your Civil ID, Mobile Number, Email ID, Date of Birth, Salary, Number of Transactions you will conduct with us, and other relevant information. This data is collected as required by the Central Bank of Kuwait.

Is there a verification process after signing up?

Yes, we perform verification against your Civil ID and Mobile ID app to validate your authentication.

Can I use social media accounts to register?

No, we do not allow registration with social media accounts.

What is BEC Pay?

What should I do if I lose my phone or notice any suspicious activities in my account?

Contact us immediately. We will freeze your account to prevent fraudulent activities. You can call us or message us on WhatsApp at 1842000.

Who can have a BEC Pay Account?

BEC Pay is operated in Kuwait under the regulation of the Central Bank of Kuwait, and it is applicable only to residents of Kuwait with a valid national ID.

What should I do if my account is locked?

Your account may be locked for security purposes. It will be unlocked later, or you can contact us at 1842000 for immediate assistance.

What should I do if I forget my BEC Pay PIN?

If you forget your BEC Pay PIN, click on “Forget PIN” when launching the app. Follow the simple verification steps provided in the app to set a new PIN for login. Alternatively, you can unlock BEC Pay using the biometrics of your device.

How long does it take to evaluate my account with BEC Pay?

Typically, it takes 48 business hours. If any discrepancies are found, we will contact you via the registered mobile number.

How do I close my BEC Pay account?

You cannot close your account, but you can request to put it into a dormant state. You can return at any time and resume using the account by completing a simple verification process.

How does remittance work in BEC Pay?

All transactions go through BEC authorized channels, adhering to the guidelines set by the Central Bank of Kuwait.

What is International Money Transfer?

International Money Transfer refers to sending money from Kuwait to another country. BEC Pay supports transfers to over 60 countries, using KWD currency.

What currencies are supported for remittance?

All transactions are conducted in KWD only.

Are there any fees associated with remittance transactions?

Yes, there is a transaction fee for each transaction, varying based on the recipient country and currency.

How can I increase my transaction limit for international money transfers?

Please contact BEC Pay Customer Service via Call, WhatsApp at 1824000, or In-App Chat for assistance.

When will my beneficiary receive money in their bank account?

Most bank account transactions are processed within 2 hours. However, delays may occur due to non-business days or hours in the recipient country. If any issues arise, we will contact you. You can also inquire about the status by calling customer support at 1824000.

How can I get my transaction receipt?

You will receive a transaction receipt immediately after a successful transaction. Alternatively, you can download the receipt from the transaction history on the BEC Pay home screen. Note that receipts are available only for transactions performed within the BEC Pay app.

How can I cancel my transaction if I sent the amount to the wrong details?

While cancellation is usually not possible, please contact us at 1824000 immediately for assistance if you’ve entered incorrect beneficiary details.

What transfer methods are available in BEC Pay for international money transfers?

You can send money to a bank account or for cash pickup at specified financial institutions.
